Who Are We

Black Hat Joe Coffee was named after a 5th generation Colorado cowboy rancher/farmer who loved coffee. Joe and his dog, Rex, would greet you in his ranch kitchen with a fresh cup of strong joe and great conversation, often accompanied by hard ranch work. We hope you enjoy the taste of this smooth, rich coffee air-roasted in Colorado.

Black Hat Joe air-roasted coffee has a wonderful aroma upon opening the bag. The aroma brewing in a French press was also delightful. It is very smooth, and delicious, with no bitter aftertaste. I like that the company sources its beans from women-led farms and that they process them in a way that reduces contaminates and toxins. Overall I liked the coffee very much and plan on trying every product and buying my everyday coffee from Black Hat Joe.
